Offsite Event at FOSDEM 2025…?
I have good news and bad news. Our Call for Participation for the Social Web track at FOSDEM 2025 was extremely successful; we had almost 40 submissions of great talks about Free and Open Source software for the Fediverse.
The bad news is that we've got only a 4 hours of time at FOSDEM, and we've been unable to allocate more time for the track.

@evanprodromou Are there funds for venue rental? Several day before events use space in hotels near Grand Place: Novotel Bruxelles Grand Place, DoubleTree Brussels, and Hilton Bruxelles Grand Place are popular venues.

@dneary @evanprodromou I have, but this is helpful. I don't have a *tonne* of money, though. I've been looking at more, umm, community venues, but I'll try pricing these out.
