OK. I'm doing a Tournament of Years. I'll do a poll about the last 16 years, scrambled. Winner of each round goes on to a championship at the end. Here are the brackets (randomized):

@evan How are we judging? For the whole (As in the whole planet) or for yourself personally... 
@Aviva_Gary Usually when I do polls, part of the value is starting a discussion about how we answer the question. "What is a good year? What makes one year better than another?" When I over-specify the parameters, it makes for a really frantic process for me, and no fun for everyone else. So, I'd rather leave those things undefined.
@Aviva_Gary that said, some people have a hard time with that kind of open-ended thought process. I understand we all have different kinds of minds, and some aren't going to enjoy questions like that.
@evan True... the only reason I asked is because for example the 1990s were great for me...
But for the planet however...
