yes, that could be a hurdle if you feel you've harassed them.
Maybe just a simple post saying "Hey, I'm now on Pixelfed, which is for sharing photos! Follow me at USERNAME on Fediverse and USERNAME on Bsky."
And let those who want to follow you there, do that themselves. Then you won't feel that you've harassed them.
You could also keep boosting your posts, I just figured I'd let you know that you don't HAVE to do it that way, since you seemed slightly disappointed with the process.
