How many browser windows do you usually have open?
This is interesting! Thanks everyone who answered! I recommend checking the comments to see how different people use windows and tabs together.
I use one laptop and one external monitor above it. I usually keep a single browser window maximized on the external monitor, and use the laptop for video calls. But I also "lose" windows all the time, or have to open them separately for some reason.
So, I'm 3-5. 2 on purpose, and 2-3 because things don't always happen according to plan.

Reading this, makes me wonder if there's a difference between os users. I also "lose" windows on mac and windows 11 all the time because of OS affordances, but on windows 10 (where I have the "collapse" task bar behaviour turned off, and my task bar vertical), it's much easier to track a half dozen or dozen windows from the same app, so less pressure to kill/merge them.
@evan Well I have one browser logged into Google facebook and X and one browser for everything else. But they may of may not be open at the same time.
