@evan I do remember when this flared up, and voted based on how it appeared to me at the time (without knowing all the details).
@evan i have no idea who that is, and didn't look it up because that wouldn't necessarily help me judge it, as i would just ingest the bias of a particular info source i would read.
@evan I had to look him up. and then I remembered.
probably more tragic than how he was treated is how he then just vanished from the zeitgeist.
@evan I'm completely uninformed, never heard of him (and the Wikipedia article doesn't give much insight into "how he was treated"), so am abstaining from an opinion.
