I was in a car accident and broke my left wrist. I'm left-handed, which means I can't write by hand. This has been hard for me, since I usually write in my journal every night. I made a makeshift journal on my phone, and I do the entries with voice to text. But it doesn't feel the same as writing by hand with a fountain pen like I usually do. I look forward to getting my left hand back and being able to write every night.
Hopefully, with physiotherapy and focused effort you’ll be writing with your favorite fountain pen again in no time.
I was in a serious car accident too, when I was 6 years old. I had to learn to do many things differently as I healed, but eventually I regained what I’d lost, and developed a very strong will in the process.
Be well, Evan. May every day bring you progress.
