Over the weekend, I received some vaguely threatening emails from someone who wanted to stop me from publishing my research into Readium's LCP DRM.
I've published both my findings *and* the emotionally manipulative messages they sent.

@Edent I went through a similar process when I bought an e-book from Simon and Schuster. Their only options were to read it with their smartphone app or online in a web browser. Naturally I fired up the dev tools. The epub contents were mostly trivial to extract, and I was able to get it into my ebook reader, but the formatting was so bad and the process so cumbersome I just decided I would avoid buying anything from them again.
