Hey Fediverse friends. 
I am in the ICU right now. I was hit by a car while walking to a cafe yesterday morning and I have 9 broken ribs. It hurts a lot.
My wife and brothers are taking great care of me. I'm very lucky. The hospital is great.
I should be out of the hospital next week and back online later in the week.
@evan OMG. Get well soon, that's awful!
Also don't be stubborn - do what the docs and OT and PT tell you and take the pain meds! It wasn't for an accident, but that was the #1 most important advice when I was hospitalized.
