I'm up early to try to see a bit of the eclipse. We've got some cloud cover but I'm gambling we'll get a tiny bit of the occlusion between the horizon and the clouds. 
No view of the sun, unfortunately. But beautiful seeing a little snow and hearing our birds coming home.
Getting up at 5 meant the coals were still hot in the fireplace and I was able to revive the fire. It always feels like magic when that happens.
