@Evan Prodromou We are doing everything in our power to prevent abuses by the government. We've been trying for years, and we can't guarantee that we will succeed. Especially considering that the courts and politicians won't even stop flagrant violations of our rights. You basically just blamed the victims for not stopping their abuser. I know you mean well, but that is extremely upsetting and inappropriate.
@scott I think you need to re-read. I am not blaming anyone; I'm saying that asking to be excused from blame by people who are dealing with the real risk of invasion is unfair; those people have other things they are doing. If that doesn't resonate for you, please feel free to ignore!
